R&D Thin Films Scientist/Engineer

  • Conceive, design and develop new inorganic thin film structures and processes for applications in organic light emitting diode (OLED) technology
  • Qualify and specify new processes for production
  • Ensure that the newly developed technology is successfully transferred to production
  • Design and perform experiments for process optimization and yield improvement
  • Contribute towards improvement of existing processes and structures
  • Design, specify, order and implement new equipments related to deposition of inorganic thin films
  • Patent and publish as appropriate
  • Contribute to other areas of R&D as and when required

Educational / Experience Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in physics, chemistry, material science, chemical engineering or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in thin film deposition using PVD processes
  • Extensive knowledge of sputtering and evaporation of inorganic dielectric films
  • Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical process control (SPC) techniques preferred
  • Demonstrated track record with development of new processes and techniques
